Grizzly Home Inspections is founded and led by Octavio Dominguez, a licensed Connecticut home inspector (Lic. #HOI.0001178) and InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI #NACHI21020922).
Growing up immersed in the construction industry gave Octavio a hands-on, practical understanding of how a home is built from the ground up. Before ever picking up an inspection tablet, he spent years on active jobsites learning structural framing, roofing assemblies, rough plumbing, electrical service panels, HVAC systems, and concrete foundations. While anyone can study a textbook and pass a standardized exam, true diagnostic expertise comes from knowing how materials interact and where contractors take shortcuts.
After purchasing a home of his own in Connecticut and navigating the stressful real estate process firsthand, Octavio recognized the need for an inspector who does not rush, who answers every question with patience, and who genuinely advocates for the buyer. That inspired the launch of Grizzly Home Inspections.
